We are looking for experienced ServiceNow Developers to join our team for immediate deployment in Chennai. The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting the ServiceNow platform, providing efficient solutions and support. This is an on-site, full-time role.

Design, Develop, and Configure ServiceNow Modules Based on Business Requirements:
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of various ServiceNow modules that align with specific business requirements. You will use your expertise to configure ServiceNow applications, ensuring that they support the business operations efficiently. By leveraging your knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, you will create solutions that enhance service management, automate processes, and provide actionable insights for the business.
Customize ServiceNow Applications Including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and Other Modules:
You will customize ServiceNow applications such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and other relevant modules based on organizational needs. This will involve tailoring out-of-the-box functionality to ensure that the platform delivers the expected results. Customizations could include changes to forms, workflows, notifications, and UI policies to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Develop and Maintain Custom Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes:
You will be responsible for designing and developing custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, and script includes that enhance ServiceNow’s functionality. This includes automating processes, triggering notifications, and ensuring that the platform performs according to the business rules and requirements. The custom scripts will help optimize processes such as incident management, change management, and other IT service workflows, ensuring seamless operations.
Integrate ServiceNow with Third-Party Systems Using REST/SOAP APIs:
Integration is a key responsibility, and you will be involved in connecting ServiceNow with various third-party systems and applications using REST or SOAP APIs. This will ensure seamless data exchange and enable automation between ServiceNow and external systems. For example, integrating with an enterprise application or a monitoring system can help synchronize data and trigger automated workflows, improving overall service management and reducing manual intervention.
Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to Understand Requirements and Provide ServiceNow Solutions:
You will work closely with business stakeholders, including team leads, process owners, and managers, to gather their requirements and understand the specific challenges they face. Based on these insights, you will design and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs. This could include the creation of custom applications, features, or enhancements to existing ServiceNow modules that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Handle the Administration of the Platform, Including Upgrades, Patching, and Module Enhancements:
As a ServiceNow expert, you will manage the administration of the platform. This includes tasks like performing system upgrades, patching, and module enhancements to keep the platform up-to-date and secure. You will work to ensure that the system continues to function optimally after each upgrade, making sure that customizations and configurations are preserved during new releases and that the platform performs at peak efficiency.
Resolve Incidents and Requests Related to the ServiceNow Platform in a Timely Manner:
A significant part of your role will be addressing and resolving incidents and service requests related to the ServiceNow platform. You will use your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to ensure that issues are investigated and resolved promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining user satisfaction. This involves troubleshooting and applying fixes or patches to the platform when necessary.
Ensure the Platform's Performance, Scalability, and Security:
You will be responsible for ensuring that the ServiceNow platform is not only high-performing but also scalable and secure. This includes monitoring platform performance, managing system resources, and ensuring the platform can handle increasing workloads as the organization grows. Additionally, you will work with security teams to implement best practices around data protection, user access control, and ensuring the system adheres to relevant security standards.
Provide Support for Korea Time Zones, Including Shift-Based Work if Required:
Due to the global nature of the business, your role will also require you to support the Korea time zone. You may need to work during non-standard hours or participate in shift-based work to accommodate teams or clients operating in Korea. This could involve on-call support, troubleshooting issues, or handling urgent requests during the late or early hours.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues in a Production Environment:
One of your primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a production environment. You will need to diagnose problems that may arise within the system, whether related to customizations, integrations, or platform performance. Your ability to quickly identify the root cause and apply a fix will ensure minimal disruption to business operations. This includes working with other technical teams to resolve complex issues and performing root cause analysis to prevent similar problems in the future.
Required Skills:
5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and customization.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, Glide API, and Server-side/client-side scripts.
Proven experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, etc.).
Expertise in creating custom workflows, business rules, and automation scripts.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integrations (REST, SOAP).
Understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.
ITIL framework knowledge and experience in implementing ITIL processes.
Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrades and patching processes.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Dashboarding.
Knowledge of ServiceNow platform migrations and complex implementations.
ServiceNow certifications, such as:
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Experience with DevOps and integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
Work Environment:
Work From Office (WFO) in Chennai location.
