About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have a strong foundation in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and invoicing processes, and are looking to expand their experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)—including budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
The position will be based in our Bengaluru office and requires working the night shift from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM IST, catering to our global operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and must demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely tracking and reconciliation of incoming payments.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payment scheduling.
- Support P2P operations, ensuring compliance with internal purchasing policies and vendor contract terms.
- Manage end-to-end invoicing activities, including invoice generation, validation, resolution of discrepancies, and follow-up on pending issues.
- Address and resolve invoicing disputes and queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Support FP&A functions, contributing to monthly budgeting cycles, financial forecasting models, and pricing analysis.
- Perform contract compliance checks, ensuring adherence to financial terms and negotiated clauses.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and assist in preparing periodic reports for management review.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure alignment on purchasing decisions and contract evaluations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related discipline is required. A Master’s degree in Finance or MBA (Finance) is highly preferred. - Relevant Experience:
5 to 7 years of proven work experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial analysis roles, preferably in global or MNC environments. - Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel – must be comfortable using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and generating financial reports.
- Working knowledge of other MS Office tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. The candidate must be capable of communicating financial data clearly and collaborating with global teams across time zones. - Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial transactions, documentation, and reconciliations. - Problem Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve financial discrepancies and disputes independently. - Flexibility:
Willingness to work in night shifts and adjust to global working hours. Flexibility in managing deliverables and adapting to changing business needs.
